Tunisia: further information on: possible prisoners of conscience / torture / health concern
Bachir Abid, Ali Jallouli, Abdel Moumens Belanes: Ali Jallouli and Abdel Moumens Belanes were released on bail on 16 and 17 April 1996, respectively, pending their trial. Bachir Abod had already been released on bail. All three of them had been arrested and held in illegally prolonged incommunicado detention in the Ministry of the Interior, where they were allegedly tortured.
