On 27 June the Federal Supreme Court in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) sentenced Mosaab Ahmed ‘Abdel-‘Aziz Ramadan to three years in prison followed by deportation. He was tried on charges including running an “international group in the UAE affiliated to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood”. He has no right to appeal the decision.
