United Arab Emirates: Egyptian national detained, risks torture: Ahmad Mas’ad al-Ma’dawi
An Egyptian national, Ahmad Mas’ad al-Ma’dawi, was arrested at Abu Dhabi’s International Airport as he was leaving the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 13 January 2014. His whereabouts are unknown and he may be at risk of torture and other ill-treatment.
