George Joseph was reportedly deported to India on 23 September. An Indian national working in Saudi Arabia, George Joseph was reportedly arrested and held in incommunicado detention. Amnesty International was concerned that he was arrested solely because of his religious beliefs and that he risked being tortured in custody. No further information is currently available.
