Israel and the Occupied Territories: Muhammad Ahmad Muhammad Hadayad: administrative detention
The above-named was arrested on 9 September 1990 and held for almost two months in Gaza Prison. He was issued with an administrative detention order on 15 November 1990, for the period 13 November 1990 to 12 November 1991. The reasons given for his detention allege that he had been recruited to participate in illegal activities during a trip to Jordan in 1990. Huhammad Hadayad has appealed against the order. Because of his clean record and the time he had spent in prison before the issue of the order, the appeal resulted in his release date being brought forward to 14 May 1991.
