Israel and the Occupied Territories: 'Adnan Jaber: Administrative detention
The above-named, a 47-year-old sweetshop owner from Bethlehem, was arrested in January 1991 and issued with a four-month administrative detention order. At his appeal, the authorities alleged that he was an activist in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The appeal was rejected and the detention order confirmed. 'Adnan Jaber has been imprisoned before, but this is his first time to be administratively detained.
