Ahmad ‘Abd al-Qader Muhareb, a 28-year-old research worker for the Gaza Community Mental Health programme from Al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip, was arrested on 5 November 1991. He was issued with a four-month administrative detention order. Amnesty International does not know the reasons for his arrest. Ahmed Muhareb has spent 31 months in detention previously. At present he is held in the Ketziot detention centre and is due for relase on 4 March 1992.
