Iran: Prisoner of Conscience: Maryam Malek (f)

Maryam Malek was arrested on 25 April by security officials in the Iranian capital, Tehran, under the charge of “propaganda against the system” in connection with her membership of the Campaign for Equality, that is also known as the One Million Signatures campaign. She is currently detained in Evin Prison. Amnesty International considers her to be a prisoner of conscience, held solely for the peaceful exercise of her right to freedom of expression, association and assembly. She should be released immediately and without condition.
