Iran: Further information on Fear of imminent execution
Amnesty International has learned with regret that Reza Nadi and Kazem Alayemi were publicly hanged at dawn on 15 August in Mashhad. They were reportedly given 74 lashes before the execution, which took place despite a final appeal to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, and the victims' families.
