This report focuses primarily on the case of Akbar Mohammadi, a possible prisoner of conscience. It looks at delay and denial of medical care, harassment and arrest of members of his family and the fate of other students following demonstrations. It also highlights AI’s concerns in relation to torture, ill treatment of political prisoners, the administration of justice, and freedom of expression in Iran.
