Iran: Further information: Iranian human rights activist sentenced: Kouhyar Goudarzi
Kouhyar Goudarzi, a member of the Committee for Human Rights Reporters (CHRR), was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on 7 March 2012, to be served in Zabol, eastern Iran. He is a prisoner of conscience. His mother, Parvin Mokhtare, was released from prison on 18 March.
