Syrian national Husam Radhwan el-Mar’i was arrested at Cairo International Airport on 12 April 2010. He has been held incommunicado since then, and his whereabouts are unknown. He is believed to be in the custody of the State Security Investigations (SSI). Detainees held by the SSI are at risk of torture, especially when they are held incommunicado and at undisclosed locations.
