Bahrain: On the brink of human rights crisis: Amnesty International’s written statement to the 34th session of the UN Human Rights Council (27 February – 24 March 2017)

Amnesty International raises a number of concerns regarding the human rights situation in Bahrain including, the resumption of executions, the excessive use of force and clampdown on peaceful assembly, powers being restored to National Security Agency, the continuing clampdown on the rights to freedom of expression, association and movement, enforced disappearances and continued access restrictions.
