Amnesty International and Realizing Rights: the Ethical Globalization Initiative have been working together for more than a year to see human rights concerns better integrated into efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The organizations recommend that, in addition to strategies aimed at specific MDG targets, the cross-cutting actions specified in this document to respect, protect and fulfil human rights should be included in the action plan agreed in September.
