Statement on national security law for Hong Kong at UN Human Rights Council (HRC44)
In this statement, issued in the context of the interactive dialogue with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights during the 44th session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC44), Amnesty International expresses deep concern over the passing of the national security law for Hong Kong. The statement calls on the HRC to step up its efforts to address the human rights situation in China.
