This joint letter signed by 47 organizations expresses concern that recent decisions by the French government undermine the participation of civil society in the G7 process. The organizations ask the French Presidency to commit that it will ensure open and effective participation and access of civil society representatives at the Leaders’ Summit in August. It also asks for a meaningful discussion on the recommendations prepared by national and international civil society organizations for the G7 in 2019.
