ASEM: Honouring their pledge - delivering a human rights agenda for ASEM
This paper briefly outlines Amnesty International's concerns in the Asia region that it believes should be at the heart of the ASEM meeting in March 1999. It looks at the opportunity for cooperation between governments dealing with human rights as a regional issue and recommends that these rights should be a key aim of economic policies and dialogue with business.
