Czech Republic: Injustice renamed: Discrimination in education of Roma persists in the Czech Republic
In this report Amnesty International is calling upon the government of the Czech Republic to show leadership and direction to reverse racial discrimination in education and address grave violations of the right to education for Romani children. This report examines the systemic discrimination that still exists within the Czech education system, and the ongoing manifestation of this discrimination in the effective segregation of Romani children in schools and classes where they receive an inferior education, based on a reduced curriculum.
