Central and southwest Bosnia-Herzegovina: Civilian population trapped in a cycle of violence
In this report, AI concentrates on victims of abuses which have largely taken place in areas of central and southwest Bosnia-Herzegovina disputed by the Bosnian Croat de facto leadership and the Bosnian Government. AI is greatly disturbed by continuing abuses against civilians and by the impunity with which they are committed. The violations reported include large-scale detentions (carried out especially by the Bosnian Croat side) and deliberate and arbitrary killings by both sides.
