Belarus: Mikhail Marinich - opposition politician imprisoned for his political beliefs
This document considers the case of Mikhail Marinich, a former Minister for External Economic Relations who, on 30 December 2004, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment in a hard labour colony with confiscation of property. The organization considers him to be a prisoner of conscience and is calling for his immediate and unconditional release from his current imprisonment in Minsk.
