UK/Northern Ireland: The killing of Patrick Finucane - official collusion and cover-up
Patrick Finucane was shot dead in February 1989 by Loyalist paramilitaries in Northern Ireland; evidence has emerged of collusion between the paramilitaries and police and military intelligence agents in the killing. This document examines the evidence of such a collusion and presents the joint legal opinion which was submitted to Amnesty International by three barristers specialising in human rights law.
