Turkey: fear of “disappearance” / torture: Kenan Bilgin

Kenan Bilgin has been held in unacknowledged detention since 12 September 1994. There have been reports that he has been tortured in detention. He was one of 11 suspected members of the illegal Revolutionary Communist Party of Turkey (TDKP) who were detained in Ankara on 11 and 12 September. Police have acknowledged the detention of all except Kenan Bilgin. This action includes testimonies from three detainees who have reported seeing Kenan Bilgin in custody at the Anti-Terror Branch in Ankara.
