Turkey: Medical letter writing action: Deaths in custody: Failure of medical reporting
Amnesty International is concerned at reports of continuing raids on the offices of HADEP following the arrest of the leader of the PKK. Two HADEP supporters have died in custody since 16 November 1998. Others have been tortured whilst detained. AI is also concerned at the lack of proper documentation of medical reports concerning the deaths in custody.
