Turkey: Fear of torture / fear of “disappearance”: Ismail Polat

There is concern for the safety of Ismail Polat, a 43-year-old Kurd who was detained at 11pm on 7 April 1997 at his home in Gaziantep. His family have made inquiries, but have been unable to receive confirmation of his detention or whereabouts.
