Turkey: Further information on fear of refoulement: Jamshid Hashemi

Amnesty International has learned that Jamshid Hashemi has been granted a residence permit which allows him to stay in Turkey for two months while arrangements are made for him to go to a safe country. He is, therefore, no longer at risk of being forcibly returned to Iran.

Amnesty International has learned that Jamshid Hashemi is no longer at risk
of being forcibly returned to Iran. He has been granted a residence permit
which allows him to stay in Turkey for two months while arrangements are made
for him to go to a safe country.
No further action by the UA Network is requested. Many thanks to all who sent
appeals which are believed to have played an important part in the positive
outcome.
