Hungary: Ill-treatment and violation of the right to freedom of expression
AI is concerned about reports that Palinkas Jozsef and Herman Peter were ill-treated by police officers in Szarvasgede on 19 January 1994. Herman Peter is an activist in the Green Alternative and was involved in a campaign against the construction of a medical waste incinerator on the outskirts of the village.
