Federal Republic of Germany: The alleged ill-treatment of foreigners: an update to the May 1995 report
Between April 1995 and January 1996 AI received fresh allegations that German police officers had used cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. In most cases the victims were foreign nationals. This document lists some of the allegations received and provides updates to cases documented in the May 1995 report (EUR 23/06/95) with responses from the German authorities.
