Amnesty International is concerned at reports that Angel Zubchikov, a 17-year-old Rom, died after having been ill-treated in police custody. Similar incidents have occurred repeatedly and there is further concern at what seems to have become a pattern of police violence and impunity. Amnesty International is urging the authorities to ensure that the investigation into his death is thorough and impartial.
