Taiwan (Republic of China): Death sentences based on unfair conviction: three men face execution

Grave doubt surrounds the convictions of Su Chien-ho, Liu Bin-lang and Chuang Lin-hsun, who are awaiting execution in Taiwan. It is claimed that their confession to murder was extracted under torture. Many thouands of people have appealed for their case to be reviewed but three years after the conviction they remain under sentence of death. AI is calling upon the Taiwanese government to commute the sentences and order a thorough investigation into the case.
