EXTRA 66/94 - Singapore: imminent execution: Daniel Chan Chi-pun
Daniel Chan Chi-pun, a Hong Kong citizen, is to be executed on Friday, 25 November 1994. He was arrested in 1990 on charges of carrying heroin. His plea for clemency has now been rejected by the President. His wife has stated that she believes that he smuggled drugs to have his son's blindness treated.
