Pakistan: Freedom of assembly should not be curtailed again on 1 May
As political opposition parties in Pakistan are planning to hold public rallies and demonstrations on 1 May 2001 in Karachi, Amnesty International urges the Government of Pakistan to withdraw its ban on such political activities and to immediately restore the right to peaceful assembly
