Amnesty International fears for the safety of Mulyadi Ibrahim and Husin Idris who have not been seen since they were arrested by the PPRM (Petugas Penindak Rusuh Massa), a riot control police unit, on 30 July 1999 in the province of Aceh, northern Sumatra. They could be at risk of torture, ill-treatment, “disappearance” or unlawful killing.
