Indonesia: The Consultative Group on Indonesia (CGI): A briefing for government members and donor agencies
This document lists Amnesty International's recommendations to the members of the Consultative Group on Indonesia, who are due to meet in France on 29 and 30th July 1998. Priority recommendatuions are reform of Indonesia' armed forces, the creation of an independent judiciary, strengthening the powers of the National Commission on Human Rights, various pieces of legislative reform and the general promotion of human rights.
