Amnesty International is concerned for the safety of the above, a 17-year-old student who has not been seen since 14 July 1996. He was reportedly detained in Gleno, Ermera, East Timor, by a group of men wearing the clothing of gangs called Ninjas, who are believed to act with the connivance of the authorities.
