Tubagus Maulana Yusuf was executed by firing squad on 18 July 2008 at 10.30 pm in Benten, North Java. He had been convicted in March 2007 of murdering eight people who came to him for help after he claimed to be a witch doctor who could make people richer. Sumiarsih and her son Sugeng were executed by firing squad at 1.10am on 19 July 2008 near Surabaya city in east Java. Rio Alek Bulo will almost certainly be executed shortly.
