China: Wave of arbitrary detentions in Inner Mongolia
Ten people labelled by the Chinese authorities as "nationalist separatists" have been held without charge or trial in Inner Mongolia since December 1995. Many other people were briefly detained for taking part in two demonstrations protesting against the detentions.
