China: Detention and harassment of dissidents and others between January and June 1998
This document lists 50 cases of people being detained or harassed by police in China between January and June 1998. They include political dissidents, human rights defenders, labour rights activists and relatives or friends of political prisoners. Fifteen of those listed are reported to be detained or restricted.
