USA: Crimes and impunity
This summary sheet accompanies a new Amnesty International report, 'USA: Crimes and Impunity' which highlights the lack of truth, accountability and remedy in relation to the human rights violations committed in the secret detention programme operated by the CIA after the attacks of 11 September 2001. Four months since the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence issued its 500-page summary report on the CIA programme, the Committee's work has been met by a deafening silence from the Obama administration on the accountability question.
