USA (Missouri): Death penalty: Anthony Joe Larette, Robert O'Neal
Anthony Joe LaRette and Robert O'Neal are scheduled for execution in Missouri on 29 November and 6 December 1995 respectively. LaRette was sentenced to death for murder. Despite a history of mental illness an evaluation at his trial found no mental disorder. No defence witnesses were called during the trial. Robert O'Neal was also sentenced to death for murder. The evidence against him came from prison guards, one of whom had a criminal record which was not disclosed before the trial.
