Joseph Stanley Faulder, a Canadian, is scheduled to be executed in Texas on 10 December 1998. His case illustrates many of Amnesty International’s concerns about the administration of the death penalty in Texas including deficient trial procedures, inadequate appellate review and clemency laws and violations in international law.
