Honduras: Open letter to the presidential candidates in the Republic of Honduras
With one month to go until the presidential elections, Amnesty International is writing to candidates for the presidency of the Republic of Honduras about the organization’s main concerns regarding human rights in the country. Amnesty International urges candidates to publicly acknowledge that human rights, and the situation of those who defend human rights, are priority, by ensuring that your manifesto addresses the issues and recommendations set out in this letter.
