By Amnesty International, , Index number: AMR 32/001/1995

There is concern at allegations of police brutality in Grenada during the period 27 March 1993 to 20 January 1995. Incidents include alleged assaults on Dexter Maitland, Anthony Philip, Lawrence Lesley, Thomas Charles, Rupert Williams, Kingsley Fletcher and the killing of Lawrence Lincoln Adolphose (known as "Gooshut") on 6 April 1995. An investigation has been launched into the cases of Dexter Maitland, Thomas Charles and Kingsley Fletcher. Amnesty International is also urging that a full, independent enquiry be made into the other incidents.
