Cuba: Transform confrontation into dialogue: a human rights agenda for Cuba
The finalization of Raúl Castro’s mandate as President of the Cuban government on 19 April 2018 will mark the end of an era for Cuba. As an independent human rights organization, Amnesty International does not take a position on any country’s political or economic system. But we do use historical opportunities to advocate human rights advances. Transform confrontation into dialogue, is Amnesty International’s Human Rights Agenda for Cuba as part of this historic moment, with the objective to advance the protection and promotion of human rights in the country.
