Colombia: Return to hope - forcibly displaced communities of Urabá and Medio Atrato region
This report focuses upon the forced displacement of many of the civilian population and how their communities have sought to return to their abandoned lands or at least to be resettled in conditions of security. Many have declared themselves to be Peace Communities: calling on all the armed actors to respect their right to life and their right not to be drawn into the conflict. The parties to the conflict have reacted violently to this initiative.
