Brazil: Indigenous people threatened in Brazil

There are concerns for the safety of some 60 Indigenous people, including children, who occupied a sugar cane plantation they say is their ancestral land in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul on 15 September 2013. They have been threatened by armed private security guards working on the plantation.
