On 5 October 1998 the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC), Bahamas' highest appeal court, located in London, ruled that it would not be a violation of the Constitution to execute Trevor Fisher while his petition to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) is pending.Trevor Fisher now faces imminent execution.
