Argentina: Action Plan and respect for human rights: 11-16 February 2002 Mission
In February 2002 Amnesty International sent a delegation to Argentina to open a dialogue about human rights with the new administration of President Eduardo Duhalde and to present proposals for a National Action Plan to the President and his government, as well as to renew the dialogue with the authorities in Buenos Aires Province about the organization's concerns and to find out what plans they had for human rights in the province.
