The Americas: It's time to put an end to violence against women 25 November - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
On the American continent, almost all countries have failed to condemn violence against women. This manifest injustice must be eliminated from all customs, traditions and religious or cultural practices, and the rights of victims to live a life free from violence and discrimination must also be respected.
