Democratic Republic of Congo: Killing human decency

In this report AI seeks to highlight the manner and extent to which a large section of the DRC’s population has been subjected to human rights abuses by both government forces and their armed opponents. These abuses include mass killings of civilians, extrajudicial executions, disappearances, torture and executions after unfair military trials. The use of child combatants and the supply of arms and training to both sides of the conflict are also examined.
