Amnesty International appeals to the international community to stop the continuing atrocities and impunity, to reinforce the monitoring and reporting of human rights abuses and to promote the building of post-conflict institutions for an effective protection of human rights. The report also draws the attention to the severe needs of children and women who are often the victims of the violence and brutality in the country.
